2010 BOW-80 Revenge of the Ninja Cows
Welcome to the 2010 Bowness Nationals Bow 80 - Revenge of the Ninja Cows!
We at Bow Cycle are busy getting everything ready to make sure all have an amazing experience at the Bow 80 - Revenge of the Ninja Cows. This race will take you around Moose Mountain on a number of trails (and a road). Starting at Stations Flats, we start the pain with Sulphur Springs and move onto Powderface and Prairie Link/Creek. You get a slight respite on Powderface Road as you travel towards McDougall Memorial and begin the leg numbing Jumpingpound Hill climb, take a whippet fast crossing along Jumpingpound Ridge, crank the near impossible to the summit of Cox Hill, and then as a favour to those gravity does not like, descend down a white-knuckled Cox Hill to Dawson. With only Tom Snow remaining, you slug it out for 34 kms of singletrack and fire road to return to Station Flats.
Remember to dress appropriately and always bring clothing for all weather possibilities.
